What services do you offer?
We offer costumes, shoes, and accessories to hire for parties, events, theatre shows, films, etc, with some items available to buy to complete the costume (face paint, etc).
We also offer theatrical costume hire, ready to post nationwide (school plays, amateur dramatic societies, theatre productions, etc).
How much is the hire charge?
The hire price for a complete costume can vary from £25-90 for adults and £15-35 for children, depending on the costume. For some costumes charges may be higher. Our costume hire is for 1 week. Every additional week costs 50% of the original price.

We are on the A46, just outside of Nailsworth, on the lower ground floor of the Tradeplas Building. Our car parking is down the slope on the right side of the building. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you are struggling to find us.

What sorts of costumes do you have?
We have a huge variety of costumes to hire. Our stock includes, but is not limited to:

Can I mix and match items from different complete costumes?
Yes, our costumes are only a guide to what works together and you are more than welcome to mix and match to make a unique costume.
Do you have costumes for children?
Yes, we have an extensive range of children costumes. Our stock includes costumes matching the current school curriculum, historical costumes, and well-known character costumes. These range in ages and sizes, so please contact us if you require something specific.
Do you hire wigs?
Yes, we have an extensive range of wigs to hire.
Can you alter costumes?
Yes, we can do minor alterations. However, these can only be done for advanced bookings. So if you think you may need an alteration then please come in early to try on the costumes.
What if I don’t return the costume on time?
We will hold/charge the deposit amount if the costume is not returned on time. If costumes are not returned 3 weeks after due date, we will charge the customer for a full replacement of the costume (which is in addition to the initial late return deposit). If you believe you cannot return the costume on time, please phone/email to notify us and we can arrange an extra week’s charge. Often the charge for an extra week will be lower than the deposit.
What happens if the costume is damaged or lost?
Once the costumes leave our premises, they become the responsibility of the customer and must be returned to us in the same condition. Please let us know if costumes are damaged when they are returned to us. If the damage is beyond the reasonably expected wear and tear, we will charge the repair costs. If the costume’s condition is beyond repair, we will charge the full replacement cost of the costume.
Do you arrange transport for the costumes?
Currently, we only arrange delivery for our theatre costume sets, as well as for large orders where customers are unable to visit us to collect the costumes. We normally use DPD or Royal Mail for deliveries. Handling and postage are charged separately and the amount depends on the overall number/volume of costumes, delivery location, etc. If you think you may require us to arrange postage for your order, please get in touch.
